专利说明:

[0001] The present invention relates to devices for packaging and applying eyeliner. It is known to make up the eyelid or the eyebrows by drawing a dash of eyeliner using an applicator provided for this purpose.
[0002] Among the known eyeliner applicators, some comprise a container provided with a threaded neck on which can be fixed a closure cap which carries a rod provided at the end with an applicator tip, generally made by injection of thermoplastic material, and with a flocking coating. A wiper member is usually placed in the neck to wipe the shank and reduce the amount of product removed upon removal of the applicator. The application EP 1 336 353 describes an eyeliner applicator having a rod and an applicator tip carried by the rod, comprising at least two applicator tips for drawing lines of different thicknesses. The application FR 2 979 207 discloses an eyeliner applicator whose application surface is non-planar. There is interest in allowing the user to draw a particular line of eyeliner on the eyelids, including a double line and / or a line splitting on the eyelid during the application. The invention aims to meet this need and it achieves this by proposing a device for packaging and applying eyeliner, comprising: - a container containing the eyeliner to be applied, - an applicator tip defining an application surface for applying the eyeliner contained in the container, having at least one cavity opening on the application surface and of elongate shape along a longitudinal axis, the cavity being bordered laterally by two walls whose free edges on the side of the application surface are of convex shape about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cavity. The region of the application surface of the applicator tip, having the cavity, is advantageously convex towards the outside.
[0003] Thanks to the presence of the cavity, the user can easily draw a line splitting during the application. The user can begin by bringing into contact with the eyelid the curved portion of the applicator tip, extending out of the cavity, to draw a solid line. The user can move the tip on the skin by modifying the inclination of the tip relative to the skin, so as to bring into contact with fear the two aforementioned walls 3036594 2 on either side of the cavity. This allows to split the line. It is thus possible to draw, for example, a single line inside the eye splitting evenly and equidistantly on the rest of the eyelid. The cavity can be through or not.
[0004] The cavity may extend over only a portion of the length of the region of the application surface on which it opens. Alternatively, the cavity extends over the entire length of the region of the application surface on which it opens. The cavity may extend along a longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip. Alternatively, the cavity extends along a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip. When the cavity is not through, its axis may be substantially parallel to, or even coincident with, the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip. When the cavity is through, its axis may be non-parallel to the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip. In particular, the axis of the cavity may be transverse to the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip, being for example perpendicular thereto. The applicator tip may have at least two lateral facets located on either side of a facet presenting the cavity, these different facets being delimited by edges. The cavity may open into a region at the distal end of the applicator tip. The applicator tip may have only convex surfaces towards the outside, at the applicator portion engaging with the skin during makeup. The applicator tip may have a general ball shape.
[0005] The cavity may open onto a region of the application surface of variable or constant width, measured perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip. The width of the cavity, measured at its vertex perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, is preferably variable, this width increasing from one of its ends towards its other end, passing through a maximum, for example at mid-point. -length approximately, then decreasing towards the other end. In the case where the cavity is of elongate shape along a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip, the width of the cavity may increase towards the distal end of the applicator tip, pass through a 3036594 3 maximum, then decrease from this maximum towards the distal end. The cavity can thus have a form of drop. In one variant, the width of the cavity decreases continuously in the direction of the distal end of the applicator tip. In this case, the cavity may in particular have a triangular shape. In another variant, the width of the cavity is constant. The cavity can be defined by two oblique sides diverging outwards and joining at the bottom of the cavity. The width of the cavity may be between 1 mm and 6 mm, better still between 2 mm and 4 mm. The largest transverse dimension of the cavity may be between 1 mm and 10 mm, better between 3 mm and 6 mm. The length of the cavity, measured between its ends along its longitudinal axis, may be between 1 mm and 10 mm, better still between 3 mm and 6 mm. The depth of the cavity, measured between its bottom and its top, perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, may be between 1 mm and 10 mm, better still between 3 mm and 6 mm. The cavity can lead to a region having, in longitudinal section, a radius of curvature greater than 1 mm, more preferably 10 mm. The applicator tip may be symmetrical with respect to a first median plane of symmetry passing through the longitudinal axis of the cavity. The applicator tip can be symmetrical with respect to a second plane of symmetry, cutting the cavity transversely at mid-length A symmetrical form of applicator tip makes it possible to make up identically the right eye or the left eye.
[0006] The applicator tip is preferably of felt, i.e. it has longitudinally oriented fibers bonded together. The product can then diffuse by capillarity into the applicator tip, because of its porosity, and the applicator tip can be fixed permanently on a container containing the eyeliner. It may be fibers made of thermoplastic material, in particular acrylic polymer, polyester or polyamide. The fibers may be of less than 1 denier, preferably between 0.5 and 0.9 denier, in particular 0.7 denier (about 9 microns). The fibers may be Nylon®. The cavity may be made by machining, including milling, or punching a blank.
[0007] Apart from the cavity, the applicator tip may be without opening or recess on its surface for the application. The applicator tip may thus have no concave edge outwards at its end, nor any groove or groove. The applicator tip may have a narrowing of its cross-section between an applicator portion defining the application surface and a fitting tip of the applicator tip in the body of an applicator pen or in an applicator shaft. The distal end of the applicator tip is preferably located on the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip, the latter being preferably also rectilinear. The invention further relates to a process for makeup of the eyelid, comprising the step of applying, using a device according to the invention, a line of eyeliner splitting on the eyelid, during of the application. In particular, the line may be simple on the side of the inner corner of the eye, towards the nose, and split outward. Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will emerge on reading the detailed description which follows, of nonlimiting exemplary embodiments thereof, and on examining the appended drawing, in which: FIG. FIG. 1 schematically represents, in elevation, an exemplary packaging and applicator device according to the invention, in the form of an applicator pen; FIG. 2 represents, in perspective, the applicator tip of the pen of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a front view of the applicator tip of FIG. 2, FIG. 4 is a side view of the applicator tip of FIG. 2, FIG. 5 is a top view of the applicator tip of FIG. 2, FIG. 6 represents an isolated and perspective view, an applicator tip variant according to the invention, FIG. 7 is a front view of the applicator tip of FIG. 6, FIG. 8 is a rear view of FIG. the point In the applicator of FIG. 6, FIG. 9 shows an applicator tip variant according to the invention, shown in isolation and in perspective, FIG. 10 is a front view of the applicator tip of FIG. 9, FIG. side view of the applicator tip of FIG. 9, FIG. 12 is a view from above of the applicator tip of FIG. 9, FIG. 13 represents a variant of the applicator tip according to the invention, shown in isolation and in perspective, FIG. 14 is a front view of the applicator tip of FIG. 13, FIG. 15 is a side view of the applicator tip of FIG. 13, FIG. 16 is a top view of the applicator tip of FIG. 13, Fig. 17 shows an alternative packaging and application device, and Fig. 18 illustrates an example of a makeup result obtainable with the invention. The packaging and application device 10 shown in FIG. 1 is in the form of an applicator pen comprising a body 11 of elongated shape along an axis X, which defines a reservoir containing the makeup product to be applied, the kind of eyeliner. The latter contains, for example, water, one or more pigments, in particular iron oxide, and / or one or more dyes, and polymers. The capacity of the reservoir is for example between 1 and 15 ml. The device 10 may also comprise, as illustrated, a closure cap 12, which is fixed for example by snapping, screwing or friction on the body 11. The body 11 carries an applicator tip 20 according to the invention, shown in isolation on the Figures 2 to 16, which can be fixed by any means adapted to the body 11 and which is for example forcibly inserted into a corresponding housing provided at the upper end of the body 11, communicating with the reservoir.
[0008] This tip 20 is preferably made of felt. The tip 20 has a mounting tip 21 which is used for its attachment in the body 11 and an applicator portion 22 which serves for application, coming into contact with the skin to deposit the eyeliner which impregnates the felt. The tip 21 may have a chamfered proximal portion 70, as can be seen in FIGS. 9 to 11. The applicator tip 20 extends along a longitudinal axis Y which, in the examples described, coincides with the longitudinal axis X of the body 11 of the device 10. The applicator tip 20 is supplied with product by its proximal end 23 and the product can diffuse longitudinally therein along the Y axis until it reaches the applicator portion 22 intended to come into contact with the skin. The tip 21 has a symmetrical shape of revolution about the Y axis, of circular section. The largest diameter of the tip 21 is for example between 4 and 6 mm and is for example 5 mm.
[0009] The applicator portion 22 defines an application surface 25 having a cavity 31, of elongate shape along a longitudinal axis Z. As can be seen in particular in FIG. 4, the cavity 31 is bordered laterally by two walls 32 whose free edges 32a are of convex shape about an axis T perpendicular to the longitudinal axis Z of the cavity 31.
[0010] Preferably, the region 30 of the application surface 25 on which the cavity 31 opens outwardly bulges. In the example of Figures 2 to 5, the cavity 31 is through, opening on the region 40 of the application surface 25 opposite to the aforementioned region 30. In a variant illustrated in Figures 6 to 8, the cavity 31 is non-traversing.
[0011] In the two examples of FIGS. 2 to 8, the longitudinal axis Z of the cavity 31 is coplanar with the longitudinal axis Y of the applicator tip 20, in particular substantially parallel. In these examples, the cavity 31 extends over only a portion of the length Lp of the region 30 of the application surface 25 on which it opens.
[0012] In the examples of FIGS. 2 to 8, the opposite region 40 to the region 30 having the cavity 31 is concave around the same axis T, these two regions 30, 40 being, in the example described, connected on each side by two lateral regions 50, 60, convex towards the outside. As shown in particular in Figures 3 and 7, the width of the cavity 31, 20 measured at its apex 33 perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis Z, may be variable. In the example of Figures 2 to 5, the width of the cavity 31 increases towards the distal end 35 of the applicator tip 20 through a maximum, located in this example at a distance from the end proximal cavity 31 less than a quarter of the length of the cavity 31, and then decreases from this maximum to the distal end 35 of the applicator tip 20. The cavity 31 thus has a teardrop shape, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 3. In the variant represented in FIGS. 6 to 8, the width 1c of the cavity 31 decreases continuously towards the distal end 35 of the applicator tip 20. In this example, the cavity 31 has a triangular shape.
[0013] In the examples of Figures 2 to 8, the region 30 having the cavity 31 is of variable width, tapering continuously towards the distal end 35 of the applicator tip 20.
[0014] In the variants represented by the two examples of Figures 9 to 16, the longitudinal axis Z of the cavity 31 is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis Y of the applicator tip 20. In the examples of Figures 9 to 16, the width the variable cavity 31 increases from one of its ends 36 towards its other end 37, passing through a maximum located at mid-length and then decreasing towards this other end 37. In these two examples , the cavity 31 is defined by two oblique faces 38, 39 diverging outwards and joining at the bottom 34 of the cavity. In the example of FIGS. 9 to 12, the applicator tip 20 is generally ball-shaped with the application surface 25 convex outwardly. In the variant of Figures 13 to 16, the applicator portion 22 has two lateral planar facets 50, 60 located on either side of the facet 30 on which opens the cavity 31, these different facets being delimited by edges 50, 61 In this example, the facet 30 is of constant width.
[0015] In general, the applicator portion 22 is preferably, as can be seen in particular in FIGS. 3 and 5, symmetrical with respect to a first median plane 1 41, passing through the longitudinal axis Z of the In the examples of FIGS. 9 to 16, the applicator portion 22 is also symmetrical with respect to a second median plane M2, perpendicular to the first plane M1, intersecting the cavity 31 transversely at mid-length. In general, the length Lp of the applicator portion 22 is for example between 2 and 10 mm, better between 3 and 7 mm. The largest transverse dimension w of the applicator portion 22 is for example between 2 and 10 mm, better between 3 and 6 mm.
[0016] The applicator portion 22 may have, as illustrated in Figures 9-12, a narrowing at its connection to the nozzle 21. The applicator tip is not necessarily attached to a container body during application. It can be mounted, as shown in Figure 17, at the end of a rod of an applicator which can be fixed on the body 11 of a container containing the product P.
[0017] In use, the user can draw, during the application, as illustrated in Figure 18, a line E eyeliner splitting on the eyelid, choosing to apply the product with a surface interrupted by the cavity 31 or with a wider surface, remote from the cavity. The choice of the surface used for the application is made by orienting and adequately inclining the tip relative to the skin. The invention is not limited to the examples which have just been described. In particular, it is possible to modify the shape of the applicator tip without departing from the scope of the present invention. The applicator tip can be made by molding elastomer and then covered with a flocking coating.
[0018] 5 The expression "comprising one" must be understood as being synonymous with "comprising at least one".
